WECAN’s successful performance in the wall panel market was utilized when designing a light weight roofing system incorporating the same glass fiber reinforced material. The products excellent performance combined with its extremely light weight allows for a traditional “SLATE LOOK” roof over standard wood frame construction practices. Traditional slate roofs would require more extensive truss construction practices to accommodate the heavier weight and produce a similar look.
